VIDEO PORTFOLIO

Here are some of the video projects I have worked on. I filmed and directed a couple, and a couple of them were audio swaps, where I and my group members replaced all of the original movie audio of a short clip with our own audio.

The Dark Knight - Mob Boss Meeting & Joker's Pencil Trick (ADR/Audio Swap) - For this project, my group (Isaac P. and Tiffany D.) and I were asked to take a short segment from a live-action film and replace all of the audio with audio of our own. We recorded all of the sound effects, mostly in studio (with a Shure KSM32 and an AudioTechnica 4050) with a few recorded via a field recording kit (Zoom H6n recorder paired with a Sennheiser MKH-416). We recorded all of the voices in studio with an AT-4050, with the exception of Maroni's voice (Josh G.), for which we used a Blue Dragonfly. Wesley K. provided the voice for Lau, Seth B. voiced the Joker, Dom J. voiced Gambol, Caleb C. voiced the Chechen, and the other background voices were recorded by Seth B., Isaac P., Sam C., and myself.

Aladdin - Friend Like Me (Audio Swap) - For this project, my group (Nate C. and Jonathan W.) and I were asked to take a short segment from an animated film and replace all of the audio ourselves. We recorded more than half of the sound effects used in this video, which took us a week and a half. I provided the voice for the Genie, Matt A. provided Aladdin's voice, and Paige B. provided the voice for Abu the monkey. We also created a surround sound mix of this project, which is identical to this mix apart from being in six speakers instead of just two.

To Build a Paper Canoe - This is a short film I did with Luke B. (the actor with the beard). Luke and I wrote, directed, edited, and produced the entire video. He, Jonathan C., and Chase D. were the actors, and I was behind the camera. I then did all of the audio, including Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) and sound effects.

Project Uplift - This was actually a project a friend asked me to do. Mikaela J. had an idea for a short film, so she shared her idea and asked me to help her and her group make the film. Using her idea, I wrote a short script, directed the video, filmed and edited the video, and finally mixed the audio. The video managed to win an award, too, but I can't remember what the award was.

Best Laid Plans - Here's another video I helped out on. I did only the audio for this video, and it is posted on YouTube. Josh S. and Jacob M. were the creative team behind this video, and they asked for my help with the audio.
